Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Consultant-request submissions — business name, your name, email, phone, industry, location, budget, and the message you send us.
- Account data (if you register for the course or directory) — email, password hash, name, phone (optional), role, and course progress.
- Server logs — IP address, user-agent, referring URL, timestamps. Retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse detection.
- Cookies — a session cookie to keep you logged in, and a preferences cookie to remember dismissed banners. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To match you with a consultant and notify them of your request
- To deliver course content, track progress, and issue certificates
- To send transactional email (account verification, password reset, course notifications)
- To detect abuse and keep the site secure
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your consultant request with anyone other than the matched consultant(s).
- We do not serve third-party advertising.
Your rights
Email ada@adaconsultant.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. We respond within 30 days. California (CCPA) and EU (GDPR) residents have additional rights under their respective laws — same contact address.
Third-party services
- Stripe — processes payments for course enrollment and directory listing fees. We never see your card number. See stripe.com/privacy.
- SMTP email provider — transactional email delivery only.
- Video hosting — course video embeds (Vimeo or equivalent). Subject to their privacy policies.
